The Bomber football team hosted Hoosier Conference opponent Benton Central and came away with a dominating 59-0 victory. Bombers had short fields all night with the defense forcing early game Punts and with 3 interceptions by 3 different players, Chris Crouch, Diego Hernandez-Reyes, and Donnie Sellers Jr. Defensive line also had a very productive night with, Kaydne Doyle earning 3 sacks, Logan Metzger, Eli Dixon, and Carter Ogborn recording 1 each. Offensively, Bombers got 8 touchdowns from 7 different players. Carter Ogborn, had 115 yards on the ground with 2 touchdowns on just 10 carries. Diego Hernandez-Reyes also had 10 carries for 75 yards and a TD. Cohen Westfall threw 2 touchdown passes, one to Landon Musch and one to Kaydne Doyle. Rounding out the scoring was runs from Noah Forrestall and Rashad Claybon. Kicker John Yallay had a great night, where he went 8-8 on PATS, and 1-2 on FGs, kicking a 17 yard FG to end the 1st half. Bombers will return to action next week vs River Forest, come out and celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the State Championship Bomber squad who has been invited back for a special ceremony at Halftime.
