The 7th Grade Lady Bombers ended their season on Saturday as the champs of the West Central tournament! They were able to get two wins and walk away with the 1st place trophy. In our first game of play, the Lady Bombers came out fighting hard from the start and did not let up until the final buzzer, defeating Demotte Christian, 32-9, earning themselves a chance to play for the trophy in the second round of the tournament. Scoring for the Lady Bombers: Brynlee Urbano- 11 Kennedy Rodibaugh- 9 Taylor Weems- 5 Evey Cochran- 4 Ariana Whisker- 3 In the championship game, the Lady Bombers still had the same fight in them and were able to win it all, defeating the Lady Trojans of West Central, 31-25. Scoring for the Lady Bombers: Brynlee Urbano- 9 Evey Cochran- 8 Taylor Weems- 8 Kennedy Rodibaugh- 6 The 7th Grade Lady Bombers ended a great season the best way you can, by bringing home a trophy and bragging rights! They finished the season with a 15-5 record. A lot of improvement happened this season and I couldn't be more proud of this group of young ladies! GO LADY BOMBERS!
