The 7th Grade Lady Bombers headed to Valpo this past weekend to partake in the annual Ben Franklin Tourney. The Lady Bombers struggled to get things going in our first matchup again Lincoln Middle School. At the half it was 17-0 and not looking very promising for the Bombers. A fire was lit for the seconds half and the Lady Bombers chipped away at their opponent, but it was not enough to the get the win, ending with a 30-20 loss. Scoring for the Lady Bombers: Brynlee Urbano- 9 Taylor Weems- 6 Kennedy Rodibaugh- 3 Evie Cochran- 2 In our second matchup for the day the Lady Bombers took on Grimmer Middle School for the 3rd place spot in the tourney. The Lady Bombers had a better start to their seconds game and were able to pull off the win to earn the 3rd place title.
