🏐 Spiking Our Way to the Next Chapter! 🏐 What a night to remember! The 8th Grade Lady Bombers took the court Tuesday evening for their final middle school match against the North Newton Lady Spartans — and they went out with fireworks! The gym was absolutely rocking — fans packed the stands, the lights dimmed, flashlights lit up the court, and the crowd roared as the girls ran through a student fan tunnel to be celebrated with flowers, candy, and balloons. Our slogan, “Spiking Our Way to the Next Chapter,” couldn’t have fit the moment more perfectly. Once the match began, the Bombers were all smiles and all business — dominating the court with teamwork, energy, and heart. They wrapped up their season in style, winning in two sets (25-17, 25-13) and finishing with an incredible 9-5 record! ________________________________________ 💣 Serving Rockets for the Bombers: Azzie Agnew was on fire, going 11/12 with 3 aces that scorched the court. Brynlee Wuethrich was money from the line, a perfect 5/5 with 2 sizzling aces. Paige Hurley brought the heat at 5/6, Madigan Cawby served up steady and smooth at 3/4, Jessa Courtney added two beauty aces going 2/3, Leia Rendant chipped in 2/3 with 1 ace, while Lexi Rehn stayed cool and consistent 2/2, and Marlee Graf sealed the deal at 1/1. 💥 Kill Squad: Paige Hurley crushed it at the net with 6 kills, Azzie Agnew powered down 2, and Madigan Cawby, Lexi Rehn, Leia Rendant, and Brynlee Wuethrich each slammed home 1 apiece. 🔥 Hitting Machines: Paige Hurley went full beast mode with 9/11, Marlee Graf stayed perfect and powerful at 4/4, Leia Rendant was dialed in at 3/4, Lexi Rehn hit 2/3, and Madigan Cawby snuck in a flawless finish at 1/1. 🎯 Tippin’ and Trickin’: Lexi Rehn led the sneak attack with 9 crafty tips, Azzie Agnew added 5 smooth touches, Marlee Graf, Paige Hurley, and Brynlee Wuethrich each finessed 2 over the net, and Leia Rendant added 1 clever tap of her own. 🛡️ Defensive Digs: Lexi Rehn and Leia Rendant dug deep for 2 each, while Azzie Agnew, Madigan Cawby, Jessa Courtney, and Paige Hurley each got low for 1 key save. 🎯 Passing Perfection: Azzie Agnew was a passing powerhouse going 13/15, Leia Rendant was all hands, no errors with 12/12, Lexi Rehn was locked in at 10/11, Madigan Cawby stayed steady in serve receive at 8/10, Jessa Courtney added 4/5, Marlee Graf 3/4, Paige Hurley 2/2, and Brynlee Wuethrich 2/3. 🧠 Assists Aplenty: Lexi Rehn quarterbacked the court with 7 assists, Marlee Graf added 3 slick sets, and Azzie Agnew and Madigan Cawby each dished out 1 dime to keep the offense rolling. ________________________________________ 💙 What an epic finish to an incredible season! From the first serve to the final celebration, this team played with heart, grit, and pure Bomber pride. They’ve grown together, learned from every rally, and built memories that will last long after middle school volleyball.
