🏐 Lady Bombers Battle the Lady Bison 🏐 Both the A and B teams hit the court Thursday evening at home against the tough Benton Central Lady Bison. The energy was high, the teamwork was solid, and both teams hustled hard from the first whistle to the final serve. Despite some great rallies and grit, both squads fell just short — the A team dropping two sets (15-25, 14-25) to move to 6-3, and the B team falling in two tight sets (20-25, 21-25) to close out their season at 0-3. A Team Highlights: Serving heat came from Jessa Courtney (3/3), Brynlee Wuethrich (3/4), Marlee Graf (2/3, 1 ace), Lexi Rehn (2/3), Madigan Cawby and Paige Hurley (1/1), and Leia Rendant (1/2). At the net, Leia Rendant led the attack with 3 kills, while Marlee Graf and Paige Hurley each slammed down 1. Hitting efficiency was on point — Leia Rendant (5/5), Paige Hurley (2/2), and Marlee Graf (1/2) were lights-out up front. Tipping finesse: Azzie Agnew, Paige Hurley, and Lexi Rehn each dropped in 4 crafty tips, with Brynlee Wuethrich adding 2 of her own. Passing game stayed steady — Azzie Agnew (18/21), Leia Rendant (10/12), Madigan Cawby (10/13), Jessa Courtney (4/6), Lexi Rehn (3/3), Brynlee Wuethrich (1/2), and Marlee Graf (1/2). Defensively, the back row was flying with Madigan Cawby digging up 9, Jessa Courtney scooping 8, and Leia Rendant adding 2. Assists were led by our stellar setter Lexi Rehn with 20, followed by Marlee Graf (4), Azzie Agnew (2), and Paige Hurley and Leia Rendant (1 each). B Team Highlights: At the line, Bianca Aponte (10/12, 1 ace) and Mia Ruiz (8/8) kept the serves rolling, with Nella Lakin (5/6) and Khloee Hanley (1/1) adding to the count. Kills came from Bianca Aponte (2) and Mia Ruiz (1). Tips were on the menu with Khloee Hanley and Nella Lakin each sneaking in 2, and Aryonnah Fontaine and Cheyenne Yoder each with 1. Assists were spread out across the court — Nella Lakin (6), Mia Ruiz (4), Aryonnah Fontaine (2), and Aliyah Steele (1). Passing stayed sharp: Mia Ruiz (11/11), Bianca Aponte (8/10), Nella Lakin (6/6), Aryonnah Fontaine (5/6), Aliyah Steele (4/4), and Khloee Hanley (2/4). Defensive digs were flying — Mia Ruiz (10), Aryonnah Fontaine (8), Bianca Aponte and Aliyah Steele (7 each), Nella Lakin (6), Khloee Hanley (2), and Cheyenne Yoder (1). Both teams left it all on the court tonight, showing heart, hustle, and solid volleyball all around.
