Bombers got the ball first, scored in 2 plays and never looked back with a Landon Musch 37 yard scamper after Carter Ogborn took the opening play Screen Pass from Cohen Westfall for 48 yards. After an outstanding defensive stop and punt, Bombers next play on offense resulted in a 84 yard touchdown pass from Westfall to Rashad Claybon. Bombers kept it rolling, Carter Ogborn 1 yard touchdown run made 21-0, followed by yet another touchdown pass from Westfall, this time fellow classmate Donnie Sellers or a 27 yard strike to finish the 1st quarter 28-0. Bombers scored 2 more touchdowns in the 2nd quarter from Ogborn and the final touchdown was a nice 41 yard sprint from Logan Metzger to push the lead to 49-0 at the half. In the second Bombers got a stop to start the half and worked it ball down for a nice 27 yard FG by John Yallay. Yallay was a perfect 7 for 7 on PATs. Bombers got 10 total carries from Ogborn for 122 yards and 3 touchdowns. Cohen Westfall was 5-7 for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns. Landon Musch had 2 touches, one a 47 yard touchdown run and a 24 yard pass catch. Logan Metzger 4 carries and 52 yards and touchdown. In 2nd half, Beck Drone has a nice 1st down conversion pass to Kale Stokes for 14 yards. Defensively, Bombers sacks from Christopher Crouch, Carter Ogborn, Eli Dixon, and Logan Metzger. Defense had 8 total tackles for loss and Metzger also had a blocked punt. Bombers are now 2-0 and will be at home vs John Glenn next Friday night and the JV will be in action on Tuesday evening at Emory Harrison Athletic Complex.
