Bomber 5 man squad of Beck Drone (77), Carson Drone (82) Levi Knoth (84) Darius Lapsley (88) Chase VanMeter (99) saved their best for last and played outstanding golf all day long at Dykeman Park in Logansport and fired a season best 331, just missing qualifying for Regional as a team by 2 strokes. Hoosier Conference members had a nice day, Logansport winning with 298 edging out Twin Lakes 299, Pioneer was 3rd beating the Bombers by 1 stroke with a 330. Rochester also shot a 330 but lost on 5th man score tiebreaker. Sophomore Beck Drone continued his hot streak finishing 6th overall as an individual with a 77. That is good enough to qualify for Lake Central Regional hosted at Sandy Pines on June 12th. Carson Drone 82 was good enough to tie for 14th overall with several others at 82. Levi Knoth had his PR for 18 holes on the season with his 84. Both Carson and Levi cap a very successful first Varsity season for the Freshman and Sophomore respectively. Senior Darius Lapsley saved his best for last as well and he also shot his PR 88 in his final match for the Bombers. Chase VanMeter really rebounded well after a tough start to finish with a solid 46 on the back to also complete his playing career for Rensselaer.
