Kali Northcutt Drives 7 Runners Home In Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers Victory Over Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison

Kali Northcutt drove in seven runs on three hits to lead Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers past Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison 15-4 on Friday. Northcutt doubled in the second scoring three, singled in the second scoring two, and singled in the sixth scoring two. Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers scored nine runs in the second inning on the way to victory. Northcutt singled, scoring two runs, Brooke Koebcke doubled, scoring one run, Stacia Crabtree drew a walk, scoring one run, Brynn Hannon singled, scoring two runs, and Northcutt doubled, scoring three runs. Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison got on the board in the first inning after Madison Minnear singled, scoring one run. Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers took the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the first thanks to singles by Rylie Moore, and Crabtree. Izzy Adams hit a solo home run to left field in the top of the fourth for the Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison. Northcutt earned the win for Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers. The hurler allowed nine hits and four runs over six innings, striking out five and walking one. Reagan Dowell took the loss for Benton Central Varsity Lady Bison. The righty went one and two-thirds innings, allowing 12 runs (six earned) on six hits, striking out three and walking eight. Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers collected 13 hits in the game. Northcutt and Hannon each collected three hits for Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers. Koebcke and Crabtree each collected multiple hits for Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers. Kylie Spencer paced Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers with five walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating 11 walks for the game. Hannon stole two bases.
