The Lady Bombers faced off against the Benton Central Lady Bison on Thursday night. The A team battled hard but fell short in two close sets, 24-25 and 18-25. Their record now sits at 4-5. Despite a rocky start in the first set, they saw their potential and nearly took it, falling just one point shy. In the second set, communication struggles got in their way. When the Bombers get on the same page, they’re an unstoppable force! With a possible rematch at the WCJC Tournament on Saturday, they'll have another shot at redemption! After dropping the first set 20-25, the Bombers dug deep, turned up the heat, and powered through the next two sets, winning 25-22 and sealing the deal 15-11 in the third. This victory brought their final season record to 2-3, leaving fans cheering and the players on cloud nine! B Team Stat Highlights: Serving: Quinn Chapman served up a storm, going 11/14 with 2 aces! Greenlee Pinkerman wasn’t far behind, going 6/11 with 1 ace. Jemma Jordan was flawless with a 5/5 serving run, while Maria Lopez (3/5), Kenley Hamstra (2/3), and Kenzie Martin (1/3) each contributed solid serves. Kills: Kenzie Martin brought the hammer with 4 kills, while Jemma Jordan added 1 to the scoreboard. Tips: The sneaky tips were in full force with Kenley Hamstra, Kenzie Martin, and Maria Lopez each sneaking in 1!
