Bomber young squad played a very good competitive game vs Class 2a #1 team Lafayette Central Catholic on the road this past Friday night. Bombers offense had their best output of the year with 300 yards of total offense led by Senior Diego Herendez-Reyes who had 156 yards rushing. Cohen Westfall made his season debut and turned in a passing touchdown to Landon Musch for 22 yards. Bombers were inside the 3 yard 2 other occasions and came away with zero points. Defensively, Bombers had another great performance from JR linebacker Logan Metzger who recorded 11 tackles. Diego had a pass break up, a force fumble that was recovered by Carter Ogborn to go along with his 8 tackles as well. Bombers fall to 1-5 and host Hoosier Conference foe, Benton Central for Homecoming this Friday at Emory Harrison Athletic Complex
