BOMBERS BATTLE TO 7-0! Monday night brought another exciting night of volleyball as the Lady Bombers hosted South Newton! The A Team battled through three tight sets, finishing with a 26-18, 25-15, 16-14 victory and keeping their perfect record alive at 7-0! It took hustle, teamwork, and some big-time plays to finish this one! A TEAM — STAT ATTACK Serving Up the Heat: Lilly Schmid was PERFECT at 15/15 with 3 aces, while Camryn Drone brought the fire with 13/15 and 5 aces! Hallie Hege added 9/11 with 1 ace, Genesis Escarpita 7/8 with 2 aces, Kynedi Stokes 7/8 with 1 ace, Riley Rodibaugh was perfect at 5/5, and Ainsley Strange finished 3/4 with 1 ace. Digging Deep: Our libero Lilly Schmid was flying around the back row with 20/25 digs and a perfect 12/12 passing! Riley Rodibaugh added 12/13 digs and 4/4 passing. Camryn Drone was a passing machine, going a PERFECT 35/35 with 8/9 digs! Genesis Escarpita added 3/4 digs and 9/10 passing, Ainsley Strange 2/2 digs and 13/13 passing, Hallie Hege 1/1 digs and 14/14 passing, Lacey Ralston 1/1 digs and 2/2 passing, Emma Chapman 1/2 digs and 2/2 passing, and Kynedi Stokes 1/3 digs with 29/33 passing. Setting the Stage: Kynedi Stokes dished out 8 assists and Hallie Hege added 7. At the setting line, Kynedi Stokes was a PERFECT 30/30, Hallie Hege 18/18, Lilly Schmid and Camryn Drone 3/3, Ainsley Strange 2/2, and Emma Chapman and Riley Rodibaugh 1/1. Building a Wall: Camryn Drone put up 2 blocks at the net! Attack Mode: Genesis Escarpita went 5/9, while Ainsley Strange and Camryn Drone each went 4/9 with 1 kill apiece. Lacey Ralston added 1 kill on 4/6, Kynedi Stokes went 3/4, and Emma Chapman finished 1/2. When the Bombers needed to change gears, Camryn Drone dropped 7 tips, Hallie Hege 6, Ainsley Strange 5, Kynedi Stokes 4, Lacey Ralston 3, and Genesis Escarpita 2. ________________________________________ B TEAM — OPPORTUNITY ACCEPTED! The B Team got a last-minute opportunity to play one set against South Newton — and they didn't waste it! They came out ready to compete and earned a 25-19 victory, moving their record to 3-1! Digging & Passing: Mila Whisker led the way with 4/4 digs and 8/9 passing. Ella Flora added 2/2 digs and 1/2 passing, Audrey Morrill 1/1 digs and 3/3 passing, Romin Forden 1/1 digs and 1/2 passing, Audrey Davis 1/1 digs and 6/7 passing, and Brayleigh Black 1/1 digs. Setting It Up: Audrey Morrill recorded 1 assist. She also went 20/22 setting, while Audrey Davis was a perfect 2/2 and Layla Alson 1/1. At the Net: Layla Alson was PERFECT at 3/3, while Brayleigh Black went 1/1 with 1 kill. Keeping Them Guessing: Layla Alson and Audrey Morrill each dropped 4 tips, while Ashley Nethercutt added 1.
