Bombers took the field against Griffith Friday night and came away from 49-14 loss after a competitive first half where the Bombers had multiple opportunities and just couldn't finish drives with points. Bombers got down early 14-0 but came back with a Landen Musch 1 yard Touchdown plunge with a John Yallaly PAT. Bombers go down 21-7 but come back a knock on the door for another touchdown, however a bad bounce pass was intercepted and returned for 102 yards and moved the Halftime score of 28-7. Kale Stokes and Beck Drone had a good night connecting in the pass game, with 12 for 20 for Drone 212 yards and a touchdown with Stokes collecting 8 of those for 125 yards. David Gilmore had his first touchdown catch in his young career with a 35 yard reception from Drone. Bombers will be on the road next SATURDAY for an early afternoon game against Culver Academy
