The Bomber JV football team delivered a dominant performance on Monday night, rolling to a convincing 40-6 victory over Clinton Prairie. The Bombers controlled the game from start to finish, excelling in all three phases of the game: offense, defense, and special teams. Quarterback Merrick Drone led the aerial attack with two touchdown passes. Drone connected with Caleb Parrish for one touchdown and Jaden Johnson for another. He also added three successful two-point conversions through the air, finding Parrish twice and Johnson once. The Bombers were equally impressive on the ground. Jaden Johnson powered the rushing attack with two touchdown runs and added a two-point conversion. Mason Kellner also had a big night, scoring two rushing touchdowns to help fuel the offensive explosion. Defensively, the Bombers were stout and physical throughout the contest. The unit consistently shut down Clinton Prairie's offense and allowed just one touchdown, which came after the Gophers were given a short field. The defense's ability to control the line of scrimmage and limit scoring opportunities was a key factor in the lopsided victory. The Bombers will look to carry that success into their next matchup when they travel to Delphi next Monday(9/21) for a 5:30 p.m. kickoff. Final Score: Bombers 40, Clinton Prairie 6
