LADY BOMBERS BATTLE THEIR WAY TO TWO BIG WINS AT WINAMAC The Lady Bombers traveled to Winamac Monday evening for a night packed with excitement, hustle, and plenty of volleyball action. The B Team got the night started and came out swinging, earning a straight-set victory over the Lady Warriors, 25-11 and 25-17. With the win, the B Team improves to 2-1 on the season. Then it was time for the 8th Grade A Team to take the court, and what a battle it was! The Bombers fought point-for-point in a nail-biter, dropping the second set before digging deep and clinching the match in three: 25-22, 23-25, 15-10.The A Team remains undefeated at 4-0! It took focus, hustle, communication, and true team volleyball to earn this one. The Lady Warriors provided a fun and competitive matchup, and the Bombers had to work for every single point. That made the victory — and the celebration afterward — even sweeter! A TEAM — STAT ATTACK SERVING UP THE PRESSURE Riley Rodibaugh led the charge at the service line, going 13/15 with 3 aces. Camryn Drone was locked in at 10/10 with 1 ace, while Hallie Hege went 10/11. Genesis Escarpita brought the heat with 8/9 and 2 aces, Ainsley Strange added 4/5 with 1 ace, Lilly Schmid Schmid finished 4/6, and Kynedi Stokes went 4/7 with 1 ace. DEFENSE — DIGGING DEEP Our libero Lilly Schmid was everywhere, racking up an impressive 23 digs while going a perfect 6/6 passing. Riley Rodibaugh added 13 digs and went 7/7 passing, while Kynedi Stokes was a passing machine at 24/24 with 5 digs. Camryn Drone finished 23/25 passing with 5 digs, and Hallie Hege was perfect at 21/21 with 2 digs. Genesis Escarpita added 1 dig and went 9/9 passing, while Ainsley Strange was 5/5, Lacey Ralston 3/3, and Emma Chapman 3/4. SETTING THE STAGE Our setters kept the offense moving all night. Kynedi Stokes led with 6 assists and Hallie Hege added 5, while Lilly Schmid Schmid chipped in 1 assist. At the setting line, Kynedi Stokes went 11/12, Hallie Hege was perfect at 9/9, Camryn Drone finished 8/9, and Ainsley Strange was a perfect 6/6. Riley Rodibaugh added 3/3, while Genesis Escarpita, Lacey Ralston, and Lilly Schmid Schmid each went 2/2. A WALL AT THE NET Genesis Escarpita was on FIRE at the net with 4 blocks, while Camryn Drone added 1 block. The Bombers were making the Lady Warriors think twice before attacking! ATTACK MODE Camryn Drone went 5/7 with 1 kill, while Ainsley Strange Stange delivered 2 kills on 3/4 attacks. Emma Chapman was perfect at 2/2, Genesis Escarpita went 1/1 with 1 kill, Lacey Ralston added 1 kill on 1/2, and Kynedi Stokes finished 1/3. MIXING IT UP WITH THE TIPS Camryn Drone kept the Warriors guessing with 11 tips! Emma Chapman added 5, Lacey Ralston and Kynedi Stokes each had 4, while Genesis Escarpita, Hallie Hege, and Ainsley Strange each chipped in 3. B TEAM — BRINGING THE ENERGY The B Team wasted no time setting the tone and battled their way to a 2-1 season record. SERVING UP ACES Ashley Nethercutt absolutely lit up the service line, going 16/18 with an impressive 8 aces! Audrey Morrill added 6/8 with 2 aces, Layla Alson went 6/7 with 1 ace, and Ella Flora was perfect at 5/5 with 1 ace. Brayleigh Black finished 4/5, while Mila Whisker went 4/6 with 1 ace. PASSING & DIGGING Mila Whisker led the passing effort at 7/8, while Audrey Davis was perfect at 5/5 and Brayleigh Black went 3/3. Ella Flora finished 2/3 and Layla Alson went 2/2. On defense, Mila Whisker recorded 2 digs and Audrey Davis added 1 dig. SETTING IT UP Layla Alson and Audrey Morrill each went 2/3 setting, helping keep the offense moving. SMART PLAYS AT THE NET Layla Alson and Brayleigh Black each delivered 2 tips, while Audrey Morrill added 1. The Lady Bombers will be back in action Thursday when they host the Tri-County Lady Cavaliers.
