The Bombers stayed hot in Week 2 with a road victory over North Newton. On the opening drive, Merrick Drone connected with Kaiden Jimminez for a touchdown to give the Bombers an early 6-0 lead. The defense responded with a three-and-out, and on the next possession Mason Kellner punched in a rushing touchdown to extend the lead. Kellner added another rushing score later in the game, making it 18-0. Drone then found David Gilmore for another touchdown, pushing the advantage to 24-0. North Newton added a late score, but the Bombers cruised to a 24-6 victory. The Bombers return home this Saturday to host John Glenn at 10:00 a.m.
