Bombers start slow, finish Strong in 45-21 Home Opener Victory

Bombers gave up a couple of big plays in the 1st half and had a turnover on their 1st play of 2nd series and 2 other turnover on downs in the 1st half which put the home team in a early hole at halftime by the score of 21-17. Bombers received the 2nd Half Touchdown and were led down the field by SR Wabash Commit Landen Musch who had a good first half but found another level in the 2nd half on his way to 30 carries 255 yards and 5 touchdowns, he also chipped in 3 catches 52 yards on his way to over 350 total yards in the game. Musch also had 3 solos 5 assists, 1.5 TFL and an INT to help lead the Bombers to the 28-0 2nd half performance. Luke Belden had 7 carries and 72 yards and 2 catches 22 yards. Beck Drone tossed the ball for 56 completions out of 12 attempts and 123 yards. Jaden Johnson made an outstanding catch in the 4th quarter which led to a Rashad Clayton 6 yards TD run. John Yallaly was 6-6 on PATS and 1-2 FG in the with a long of 32. Yallaly was outstanding again from his MLB spot recording 4 Solos and 10 assists, Sack, and a Fumble Recovery. Soph LB Josh Johns had 5 solos, 10 assists, 4 TFL. Bombers had 3 takeaways on the night and held NN to 180 yards of offense. Tyler Kingman added a sack as did classmate Ayden Knezevic. The #7 Ranked 2A Bombers will be back in action next week on a road trip to John Glenn High School.
