Beck Drone put a nice cap on his fine JR season with aa 78 at IHSAA Regional hosted at Sandy Pines Golf Course in DeMotte. Beck started out solid with 6 straight Pars, before his first Bogey on Par 5 7th hole. Beck finished front with a 39, having 7 Pars and bogey, double bogey. Another Par to start the back 9 to get started before he knocked in his first Birdie on Par 5 11th hole. From there, Beck finished up with Bogey, Par, Double Bogey, Par, Par, Bogey, Par with some Birdie Putts that just didn't fall down for him. Beck finished a spot ahead of his performance last year and 2 shots better this year than last. The top 3 teams (Trinity 299, Elkhart 310, South Bend St. Joe 316) all advance to State Finals next week and next 3 best finishers from non advancing teams also will go, those golfers shot, 74, 74 and then a Playoff Hole between 2 players with 75s.
