Bomber Golfers had a nice night on the road taking on Pioneer and came away with a 4 shot victory. It was a balanced effort by the Top 5 tonight with Beck Drone taking home a medalist with 2 over 37. Carson Drone had a nice Birdie on Par 5 8th hole to score a 42 overall, Merrick Drone was solid with a 43, followed by an excellent 44 for Jackson Geleott to round out the 166 for the Varsity Match. Levi Knoth was the kickout of 51. Bombers 7 Reserves did not have a full match due to Pioneer only having 8 players, so internal match taking 4 of the best 7 scores, that team carded a solid 195. Noah Forrestall continues solid play with a 42 and a Birdie on Hole 3, and Jacob Rodibaugh recorded his best score and first Birdie when he rolled in a birdie putt on Par 5 6 hole for a PR 48. Jagger Wuetrich and Mason Ames both with 52's, and Parker Johns and Ty Cochran 55's and Ian Harris 60. Bombers will be back in action Saturday at the West Lafayette Invitational hosted at Purdue University Birk Boilermaker Golf Complex playing Ackerman-Allen, where they will be paired up with defending state champs: #10 Zionsville ,in the State and #15Lafayette Harrison.
