Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers ousted Frontier Varsity Falcons 4-1 on Saturday in game 2 of Saturdays Doubleheader. Tyson Cotner singled up the middle, which helped Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers tie the game at one in the bottom of the first. Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers took the lead in the bottom of the third. Braedy Martin homered to left field, scoring three runs, to give Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers the lead, 4-1. Martin earned the win for Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers. The hurler gave up eight hits and one run over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one. Martin drove the middle of the lineup, leading Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 2-for-3 on the day. Martin and Cotner were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected two hits for Rensselaer Central Varsity Bombers.
